The Right Coach

How do you choose a coach when many ‘good coaches’ are giving the same information?

Coaching is about finding a person that you can have a working relationship. Someone that can talk to when you are feeling motivated.

A coach is also someone that you can talk to when your not feeling it. When your tired or busy or hungry or emotional.

It could be someone you could be friends with but it could also be someone that tells you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear.

That’s important.

A good coach is someone who helps you find solutions for all your problems.

The solutions should direct you to your goals.

A coach helps you find ways to train or eat the right foods when you don’t have time to get to the gym or time to prepare food.

Your coach should be experienced in how to make appropriate choices and teach you how to be creative when finding ways to stay on track.

You coach should be knowledgeable but also admit when they are not sure about something but willing to research answers to your questions.

Your coach should know when to refer you to a doctor and specialist and be able to work with those specialists to get through any road blocks and challenges.

Most of all a coach should get to know you and how you work and discover how to get you to work or keep you working when your starting to lose the edge.

A coach should be able to listen to you but also let you know when your making excuses.

It’s always easier to find excuses rather than solutions.

Find the right coach and make changes. Find the wrong coach and waste more time.

Maybe the challenge is not just finding the right coach.

Maybe the challenge is you not finding excuses.
