Diets don’t work.
Changing how you view food and changing your lifestyle over the course of time is a better long term change.
What can be done?
Get rid of your snacking habits and remove the snacks you love from near the TV.
Start eating more vegetables and salads.
Walk to places rather than drive.
Eat leaner cuts of meats.
Cut back your food portions.
Choose smaller less calorific meals at restaurants.
Take decisive steps on your lifestyle and own the changes.
Learn about food and what is in the foods that you are eating.

Take an interest in improving your lifestyle.
Most importantly stop talking about the latest fads that such and such a Hollywood star or celebrity is doing. These people are up and down with their weight and they have nutritionist and chefs and trainers preparing everything.
Your different. You are making changes yourself and once you realise that your habits are causing the problem you will realise that a diet is the band aid.
Each day is a new day and you can do something new to improve your lifestyle.
Stop dieting and start eating to improve your health.
Step by step.
You don’t change years of poor habits in one day but each change needs to be owned. You are accountable to yourself.
I used to write diets for people and they would follow the diets for a while. But eventually they went back to the old habits.
Now I coach small changes and teach simple logical lifestyle changes. But it’s up to each person to want to change.
Stop with the extremes and make small changes over time.
Be excited by how much better you will look and feel with each lifestyle change and then look for new ways to Improve.
